Abstract
La renaissance de la philosophie politique en France a coïncidé avec le déclin de l’idée politique de révolution. Il s’agit ici d’explorer cette coïncidence historique de manière à révéler sa signification. L’auteur s’attache, en poursuivant certaines intuitions de François Furet, à montrer qu’un tel questionnement permet d’évaluer autrement la situation actuelle de la philosophie politique. La dernière partie de l’argumentation laisse entrevoir comment l’esprit de révolte s’allie aujourd’hui à un engouement général pour la technique en un alliage nouveau dont la philosophie politique doit parvenir en rendre compte.
