Abstract
L'analyse de formations des femmes en milieu rural met en évidence des difficultés relatives au temps, difficultés spécifiques de ce public. Une pré-enquête fait apparaître certaines constatations au niveau des pratiques, des représentations et des normes structurant le temps de ces femmes. Leurs rythmes de vie, organisés traditionnellement autour des enfants et d'activités de production familiale, sont confrontés à une autre organisation du temps : celle du travail salarié. Il s'ensuit un processus dans lequel le temps de ces femmes est fortement dévalorisé. Au niveau des normes, l'exigence de « disponibilité » et de « présence », le contrôle social discret mais réel, et surtout la culpabilité relative au fait de « prendre du temps pour soi » manifeste une norme implicite : « le temps des femmes doit être complètement occupé ». C'est en tout cas le modèle que les mères transmettent à leurs filles et qu'elles reproduisent aujourd'hui comme autrefois. Dans quelle mesure les formations doivent prendre en compte ces composantes du temps des femmes ? Peuvent-elles faire évoluer ce rapport au temps, en fonction de quels objectifs, et avec quels moyens ? Autant de questions que pose cette recherche-action.
