Abstract
Depuis maintenant quatre ans, nous nous questionnons et montrons des inquiétudes par rapport aux différentes recherches qui ont conduit au Programme soutien aux jeunes parents (PSJP).Pour le Bureau de consultation jeunesse, l'histoire a débuté lors d'une rencontre avec un chercheur de l'Institut pour le développement social des jeunes de Montréal (IRDS) qui sollicitait la participation des jeunes mères de nos différents points de services dans le cadre d'un projet de recherche intitulé La Mère veille.Nous avons donc assisté à une première présentation du projet qui abordait autant l'angle de la recherche que ses outils.On nous a d'abord expliqué que la recherche reposait sur la théorie de l'attachement et que la jeune mère serait invitée à participer à des entrevues et même à y subir des tests de salive pour y vérifier le taux de cortisol afin d'établir le taux de stress de la jeune mère.Selon le chercheur, le taux de stress déterminait en partie si on avait affaire à une personne de type sécure ou insécure.À la fin de ce programme, une vidéocassette des meilleurs moments entre l'enfant et la jeune mère était ❖ ◆
