Abstract
This letter applies compressive sensing (CS) and time reversal (TR) to multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) radars to derive a novel algorithm for joint estimation of the direction of arrival, direction of departure, and Doppler information on potential targets embedded in an environment with rich clutter. The CSTR/MIMO radar uses multipath constructively and offers significant performance gains over its CS/MIMO counterpart without TR in our Monte Carlo simulations.
