Abstract
Depuis une quinzaine d’années, les programmes d’éducation par l’aventure gagnent en popularité au Québec. Dans cet article, les résultats d’une étude évaluative visant à mettre en lumière les retombées d’un programme d’éducation par l’aventure implanté au sein d’une école secondaire alternative sont présentés. Il y est question de la perception des élèves (n=23) à l’égard des répercussions individuelles, scolaires et sociales qui émergent de cette expérience. Ces résultats nous amènent à réfléchir sur les composantes de programmes qui paraissent être associés aux effets encourus. - Over the past fifteen years, adventure education has gained in popularity in Quebec. In this article, the results of an evaluative study undertaken with the participants of an adventure education program are presented. The experience is described in terms of the individual, school and social impacts of adventure education, as perceived by the students (n=23). These results lead us to reflect on how the various program components can be associated with the incurred effects.
