Abstract
Résumé La nouvelle économie sociale s’appuie sur la recherche partenariale en vue du renforcement des capacités. Les collectivités côtières du Golfe du St. Laurent, vulnérables à la hausse du niveau marin, ont fait appel aux services de chercheurs. Les partenaires ont exploré les options en vue d’un aménagement durable. La réciprocité a servi pour l’échange entre chercheurs et représentants locaux. Par cette approche « innovatrice », les étapes sont négociées entre collectivités et chercheurs. Dans cet article, nous ferons part de l’utilisation des principes de l’économie sociale en développement territorial, des différentes étapes de la recherche partenariale dans l’accompagnement des communautés côtières face à la hausse du niveau marin, des résultats de cette recherche et du suivi entre chercheurs et communautés locales.
