Abstract
L’article présente les résultats d’une cueillette de données virtuelles (2008 et 2010) à partir d’un échantillon de sites Internet de la Fédération nationale des conseils scolaires francophones (FNCSF). À la lumière de la transformation du profil de la clientèle qui fréquente les écoles de langue française en milieu francophone minoritaire (63 % provenant de couples mixtes ayant l’anglais comme langue de fonctionnement), l’étude cherche à voir quelle place occupe la langue anglaise dans les sites Internet et, plus particulièrement, quel type d’information est disponible pour les parents qui ne parlent pas le français. Malgré une certaine amélioration dans l’information disponible en anglais, l’auteur propose des recommandations qui pourraient améliorer la communication entre les autorités scolaires et leur clientèle.
