Abstract
L'inscription au titre des Monuments historiques ne garantit pas la pérennité du patrimoine mobilier métallique de Guyane. Des premières machines à vapeur anglaises des années 1820 jusqu'aux appareils de sciage et de distillation du bois de rose des années 1970, en passant par un torréfacteur et une grue de berge de 1850 ou une drague aurifère de 1925, le patrimoine industriel guyanais a besoin d'un projet comme celui dans lequel s'engage l'Ecomusée municipal d'Approuague-Kaw, à Régina, avec le soutien de la Direction régionale des affaires culturelles de Guyane.
