Abstract
Dans le champ d’une théorie psychanalytique de la migration, nous présentons au lecteur l’étude d’une immigrante chinoise qui entreprend une psychanalyse du fait d’un état dépressif récurrent. À travers certains de ses rêves, nous présentons la problématique inconsciente associée à sa qualité d’émigrante chinoise et aux conditions familiales et sociales qui ont entouré son processus migratoire. Comme le verra le lecteur, les rêves de cette immigrante reflètent les souffrances, les pertes et les intégrations psychiques ultérieures qu’elle réussit grâce au temps et à son traitement. Le rêve du Bonsaï tronqué reflète avec exactitude la rupture avec les racines (pays, histoire, ethnie et culture) dont peut souffrir chaque émigrant et la question de savoir comment on peut survivre à une rupture de cette nature. Nous suivons l’histoire de cette émigrante depuis qu’elle quitte son village en Chine et son développement ultérieur, personnel et professionnel.
