Abstract
Les auteurs proposent, en recourant à une analyse hiérarchique des données sur le goût et l’inappétence en matière de genres cinématographiques issues de l’enquête Pratiques culturelles des Français de 2008, de décrire les univers socioculturels ainsi que les différentes manières de marier appétences et inappétences quant aux genres cinématographiques. Cette analyse des préférences cinématographiques permet de soutenir que d’autres variables que la détermination socioprofessionnelle sont dorénavant structurantes et de montrer que la négativité du goût (le goût conçu avant tout comme un dégoût) n’est qu’une formule possible du principe de l’appétence pour les genres d’un domaine culturel.
