Abstract
This paper explores the role of starvation in the so-called wild euthanasia that followed the termination of the T4* program in Germany in August 1941. One way of killing patients was to starve them to death, and excess mortality secondary to the ill effects of prolonged and deliberate starvation continued until 1949.
