Abstract
Cet article rend compte d’une démarche empirique ayant pour objectif d’identifier des principes stratégiques d’intervention en faveur de l’action collective revendicative. La recension des écrits met en évidence deux besoins de connaissances : 1. la désignation des stratégies en intervention sociopolitique appuyée par des considérations théoriques et empiriques; 2. les influences que le contexte de la lutte impose sur le choix de ces stratégies. La réalisation de 27 monographies sur des luttes sociales permet d’identifier des stratégies et des phénomènes qui amènent les acteurs à réaliser des plans qui ne sont pas toujours prévus au point de départ. Pour conclure, l’auteur retient de ses observations certains principes permettant à tout intervenant de devenir un peu plus stratège.
