Abstract
Baudelaire est l'un des premiers écrivains français à introduire des brouillages sémantiques dans le discours poétique. Aussi l'étude du sonnet « À une passante » permetelle de mieux comprendre la complexité du sens dans la poésie moderne, liée à la transformation de l'idée de subjectivité. L'article s'intéresse aux approches psychanalytiques, phénoménologiques et linguistiques, pour dégager une série de moyens par lesquels on peut parler de la subjectivité dans le langage, et au principe de l'analogie, pour dégager une autre série de moyens par lesquels Baudelaire innove dans la modernité. La présente réflexion s'inspire du postulat de la référence de Paul Ricoeur, indissociable de la lecture, qui repose sur trois critères : 1) le texte comme unité du discours 2) la tradition dans laquelle s'insère ce discours 3) et les particularités stylistiques qui permettent de comprendre l'originalité de l'oeuvre.
