Résumé Cet article rend compte des résultats d’une enquête permettant de situer l’influence spécifique de la formation sur la structuration du travail social communautaire (ou organisation communautaire). La structuration de l’organisation communautaire prend deux formes : transformation (le changement d’une pratique dans le temps) et différenciation (contraste de la pr-atique dans deux organisations différentes). L’article montre que la transformation et la différenciation résultent, d’une part, des phénomènes structurels (réalignement des politiques et des programmes publics, caractéristiques de l’établissement-employeur et offre de formation, pour ne citer que ceux-là), et d’autre part, des phénomènes réflexifs, dont la formation.
