Abstract
L’anthropologie de la parenté peut, comme le montre Florence Weber, éclairer d’une manière inédite l’évolution actuelle des formes de la vie familiale. Dans cette perspective, on envisage les différentes logiques à l’oeuvre dans les échanges économiques unissant parents et beaux-parents autour de l’entretien de l’enfant dans les constellations familiales recomposées. Ces échanges semblent s’inscrire à la croisée d’une solidarité portée par la filiation et (ou) la corésidence – puisque les ressources des beaux-parents sont incluses dans les « comptes » qui président à l’entretien de l’enfant - et d’une réciprocité comptable, indirecte et contrainte, suscitée par l’existence d’un enfant commun à deux « familles ». L’approche diachronique envisagée permet en outre, à partir de quatorze études de cas, de reconstituer l’histoire des modalités relatives à l’entretien de l’enfant, et révèle que les organisation financières, comme les relations qui leur correspondent, évoluent au fur et à mesure que l’enfant grandit et accède à la gestion autonome de ses besoins financiers.
