Abstract
Alors même que la souffrance au travail est une thématique qui a connu un gain de visibilité ces dernières années, une observation participante menée au sein d’un centre d’accueil et de crise (CAC) a permis de mettre au jour des processus d’invisibilisation de la souffrance au travail des patients, ce qui nous amène à discuter la thèse de la psychiatrisation du social comme phénomène explicatif de cette invisibilisation et à mettre en relief l’intérêt de raisonner en termes de segments professionnels en concurrence et parfois en conflit, plutôt qu’en termes de groupes professionnels, pour mieux comprendre la genèse et le déploiement de ces processus.
