Este artigo focaliza o atendente numa concepção humanística e reforça o conceito da ética profissional. Explorando as áreas das instituições públicas, objetivou-se conhecer o profissional que atua no atendimento, bem como destacar suas dificuldades ao exercer essa função, a fim de mapearem-se as soluções para um atendimento mais qualificado. Destaca especialmente o papel do setor de Recursos Humanos de gerenciar propostas para direcionar aos funcionários estímulos para que desempenhem seu trabalho com mais dedicação. Nesse sentido, discute-se o princípio norteador da eficiência com a finalidade de tornar a convivência entre a empresa pública e a população mais satisfatória.
