Au cours des années 1970, la scène punk rock va démystifier le processus de production culturelle en soulignant la capacité de chacun à devenir un acteur culturel. Cette dynamique va se traduire sous la forme du « DIY » (« Do It Yourself »), un régime d’action présidant au développement d’un entrepreneuriat punk relativement indépendant de l’industrie du disque dominante. Ce qui, dans cet article, conduit à interroger la dimension contre-culturelle de la scène punk rock à la lumière de son modèle économique et du positionnement de ses acteurs.
