Pour évaluer l'impact du changement climatique sur l'hydrologie de la Seine et de son bassin, nous avons construit trois scénarios de changement climatique à partir de trois paires de simulations réalisées avec le modèle de circulation générale ARPEGE (Météo-France). Leur impact a été testé grâce à 2 modèles hydrologiques : le modèle CaB, développé pour simuler les bilans d'eau et d'énergie dans les modèles de circulation générale mais qui ignore les aquifères profonds, contrairement au modèle hydrogéologique MODCOU. Ces deux modèles s'accordent, selon les trois scénarios, sur une intensification des contrastes saisonniers sous changement climatique, illustrée par des crues plus importantes en hiver et des étiages plus sévères en été.
