Abstract
Basé sur des faits dont elle a été personnellement témoin ou qui lui ont été rapportés par des témoins directs, femmes et hommes, l'auteur met en lumière la violence particulièrement atroce subie par les femmes dans le contexte de conflits armés généralisés qu'a connu le Rwanda depuis le 6 avril 1995. L'auteure souligne la misère et l'isolement quasi absolus dans lesquels les massacres ont laissé les femmes et soulève la question de la solidarité entre femmes oeuvrant pour les femmes et le développement.
