Les prérequis nécessaires à l’exercice de la fonction d’entrepreneur peuvent être définis, comme c’est le cas pour toute autre fonction, par un référentiel de compétences. Aux termes d’une enquête menée en Algérie, au Québec et en France, les auteurs ont pu faire valider une liste de compétences auprès de créateurs d’entreprise des trois pays. S’en dégage un référentiel qui peut servir de base à une validation plus large dans le monde non francophone et surtout à la conception de programmes de formation réellement adaptés aux besoins des futurs entrepreneurs.
