The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the hydrologic performance of a novel stormwater reuse system for implementation in commercial developments in Canada. The performance of the new reuse system was tested on single-commercial sites located in the six Canadian cities of Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Toronto, and Quebec. Historical rainfall data and SWMM 5.0 were used to perform continuous simulations and evaluate the potential of the reuse system to replace potable water for toilet flushing and garden irrigation. The results indicate that potable water can be replaced with reclaimed stormwater for nonpotable end uses (toilet/urinal flushing and irrigation) at a rate between 63% and 99% for single-commercial developments across Canada.
