Abstract
Cet article examine et critique l'apport des théologiens contemporains Michael Barnes et Joseph DiNoia à la question du dialogue interreligieux. La théologie du dialogue que ces derniers proposent s'appuient sur une analyse pragmatique des caractéristiques discursives et cognitives de la discussion entre représentants de diverses religions. L'article porte sur les cadres épistémologiques de ces théologies et sur leur portée pour penser la rencontre des religions dans l'espace public des sociétés modernes, plurielles et démocratiques.
