Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats partiels d'une étude effectuée sur l'utilisation de l'informatique auprès des membres de la Corporation professionnelle des travailleurs sociaux du Québec (chapitre de Québec, région 03). Les auteures y rapportent, outre des données factuelles sur l'utilisation actuelle de l'informatique en service social, les opinions des travailleurs sociaux sur la pertinence de son usage dans des activités de gestion et de pratique professionnelle. Elles présentent, de plus, leurs opinions sur les propriétés de l'ordinateur, ses avantages, ses répercussions sociales et son impact sur la vie privée.
