De nombreuses « solutions » pour un climat de bonne qualité, l’adaptation aux changements climatiques ou encore l’amélioration de la biodiversité s’appuient sur une ville moins imperméable et avec une présence plus forte du végétal, de la nature. Associer le climat, l’urbain et la nature dans une même réflexion est ainsi aujourd’hui une nécessité. Parce qu’une telle association est encore rare, ont été réunis lors d’une journée d’étude des experts du génie urbain, des sciences de l’atmosphère, des sciences de la vie et des sciences de la société, pour que soient connus et partagés leurs regards sur la relation entre la ville, le climat et la nature végétale. Les réflexions engagées lors de cette journée sont présentées dans ce hors-série de [VertigO] – la revue électronique en sciences de l’environnement.
