Abstract
Cet article vise à présenter une matrice d’indicateurs permettant de mesurer les impacts des services de protection de la jeunesse sur la sécurité et le développement des enfants dans son contexte écologique. Cette initiative est pilotée par un groupe de travail national regroupant les ministères des services sociaux des provinces et territoires du Canada. Cette matrice, composée de dix indicateurs, a été développée à la suite d’une série de consultations nationales menées auprès des chercheurs et gestionnaires responsables de services et de politiques auprès des enfants maltraités. Dans le cadre d’une subvention du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada, le Centre de recherche sur l’enfance et la famille de l’Université McGill collabore depuis 2006 avec le groupe de travail provincial et territorial pour développer et tester l’opérationnalisation des dix indicateurs retenus
