Abstract
Les relations entre les dimensions économiques et politiques des discours sécuritaires demeurent sous-analysées au sein de la discipline des Relations Internationales. L’étude critique de la nouvelle doctrine de sécurité américaine, de ses interventions en Irak et des effets de la « lutte contre le terrorisme » sur la société américaine suggère pourtant que des rapports contradictoires et complexes entre la « sphère du politique » et la « sphère de l’économique » sont en jeu. Ceux-ci s’articulent tout aussi densément aux niveaux discursif et pratique. L’objet de cet article est donc d’introduire l’analyse des « dimensions économiques » de la sécurité aux débats sur la « guerre contre le terrorisme » tout en considérant les apports considérables des approches qui s’intéressent à la nature construite des menaces.
