Abstract
Entre addiction et aliénation, maladie et répression, l’habitude est le plus souvent perçue négativement comme un signe prescrit d’abdication mécanique, de soumission pathologique (manie) ou sociologique (routine) de l’être à une norme de répétition. Pourtant, l’habitude peut aussi sauver de l’ennui, voire du désespoir (tel Robinson), être un automatisme libérateur ou encore un ordre propre contre l’ordre collectif ou le désordre historique. Ici réfléchie, l’habitude acquiert la force conjuratoire d’un rituel d’autonomie et de résistance positive, exemples à l’appui.
