Abstract
L’article présente l’évolution théorique et pratique d’un programme de recherche (1994-1999) sur le chômage de longue durée des travailleurs âgés. Partis d’une problématique de l’exclusion, les auteurs ont progressivement évolué vers une problématique de la réflexivité. Ils présentent ici les différentes perspectives d'analyse qui structurent le champ des rapports entre travail et vieillissement, pour situer ensuite l’évolution de leur démarche conceptuelle, basculant du système à l’acteur-sujet, à la notion d’expérience sociale et de réflexivité.
