More than many other theologians and philosophers, the figure of Dietrich Bonhoeffer arouses a certain fascination for biographers. It is therefore hardly surprising to have another biography of his life published even though there are several other recent ones, not to mention the monumental and now classic work by Bonhoeffer’s closest friend Eberhard Bethge, Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
