Résumé Cet article vise deux objectifs : cerner les raisons d’investir dans une université corporative et préciser les options qui s’offrent aux gestionnaires lorsqu’il s’agit de mettre en place une université corporative. À partir d’une analyse des principaux moteurs d’une économie basée sur le savoir, nous en tirons les conséquences pour les organisations : une dépendance accrue des stratégies liées aux connaissances et donc la nécessité de gérer ces connaissances de façon systématique. En particulier, nous insistons sur la relation entre les connaissances et l’avantage stratégique et nous démontrons en quoi les universités corporatives peuvent être des outils de formulation et de mobilisation du curriculum corporatif. Nous explorons ensuite ce que peuvent être les universités corporatives en spécifiant la nature des choix à effectuer. Le texte se termine sur une interrogation quant aux perspectives futures de ces outils.
