Abstract
L’objectif de cette étude est d’explorer les facteurs associés aux comportements sexuels problématiques (CSP) dirigés vers les autres des enfants. L’échantillon de 187 enfants de six à 11 ans provient d’une étude plus vaste réalisée auprès d’un échantillon représentatif d’enfants pris en charge par les services de protection de l’enfance du Québec. Cinq facteurs sont apparus associés aux CSP dirigés vers les autres, soit le tempérament de l’enfant (humeur et persistance), la violence dans la famille au cours des 12 derniers mois, la détresse psychologique du parent et le fait pour l’enfant d’avoir vécu une agression sexuelle. Ces résultats appuient en partie certaines théories explicatives des CSP chez les enfants.
