Abstract
Date de l'opération : 2007 (EX)1 Situé dans la vallée de l'Albarine au sud d'Ambérieu-en-Bugey, ce terrain de près de quatre hectares destiné à un projet de lotissement a fait l'objet d'un diagnostic par l'Inrap durant l'été 2007.Ces parcelles sont établies sur un affleurement marno-calcaire présentant une forte pente (22 %) en raison de sa position de contact entre la plaine alluviale et le massif du Bugey.En situation favorable sur la voie de passage en aval de la cluse de l'Albarine, ce terrain se trouve proche de plusieurs découvertes qui restent toutefois mal documentées, comme la présence d'une grande jarre protohistorique dans l'enceinte du haras voisin.La partie haute du terrain n'a livré que des drains agricoles récents, tandis que la partie basse a conservé, vers le sud, au moins deux couches contenant des éléments céramiques du bas Moyen Âge.
