Résumé Quand on ose mettre un peu de perspective dans nos choix professionnels, on découvre de manière frappante les liens avec nos parcours personnels et familiaux. Même si ce regard auto-analytique donne le vertige, il est bon tout de même de retourner sur les vestiges de son histoire pour en recueillir tout le prestige. Je présenterai ma trajectoire personnelle et migratoire pour saisir les articulations avec ma vision de l’intervention auprès des immigrants en France et au Québec. L’histoire et l’identité constituent des éléments marquants de ma pratique et de mon enseignement. Elles ont contribué à bâtir mon identité personnelle et professionnelle.
