Abstract
Cet article s’interroge sur l’intervention territoriale en insistant sur l’ambiguïté, voire l’imprécision, du concept de territoire. Trois questions sont posées, chacune s’inspirant d’une expérience de recherche particulière. La première porte sur les rapports entre le territoire et la communauté, c’est-à-dire les liens sociaux qui constituent le territoire en réalité sociale. La deuxième question considère l’enjeu de la pauvreté. La dernière question est celle de l’innovation, condition indispensable à des pratiques territoriales adaptées aux changements sociaux contemporains. L’article montre comment ces questions sont de portée générale et devraient être au coeur des préoccupations de toute intervention territoriale.
