Abstract
Comment les conductrices de train gèrent-elles en France l’articulation entre travail et famille au regard des conditions et rythmes de travail spécifiques qui pèsent sur le groupe professionnel? Si les normes professionnelles, associées à une faible régulation organisationnelle, interdisent de demander des aménagements de services en raison de contraintes « familiales », la récente politique de féminisation de ce « bastion masculin » conduit à une réinterrogation de ces pratiques. Les nouvelles conductrices ne demandent pas d’aménagements spécifiques, leur présence soulève toutefois la question de l’articulation travail/famille, qui jusque-là était sinon taboue, du moins reléguée au rang de contrainte professionnelle incontournable et laissée à la charge des seuls professionnels.
