Abstract
Le modèle de Processus de production du handicap (PPH) régit depuis plusieurs années le milieu de la réadaptation au Québec. Dans une perspective d’humanisation des soins, la philosophie du Human Caring a été implantée récemment comme modèle de pratique en soins infirmiers dans un centre de réadaptation de cette province. Ces deux modèles de pratique sontils compatibles ? Pouvons-nous en forger un modèle intégrateur commun ? Dans une visée d’amélioration continue de la qualité des services offerts aux personnes en réadaptation, le présent article développe le modèle unique Caring -PPH pouvant contribuer à allier deux perspectives qui ont souvent été séparées soit, le soin et la réadaptation.
