Abstract
A partir d'une etude radiocristallographique sur poudre cristalline par la methode de Rietveld, nous avons montre que le compose Na 1,69 Pb 8,31 (PO 4 ) 5,76 (HPO 4 ) 0,24 (OH) 0,55 cristallise dans le systeme hexagonal, groupe d'espace P3. Les deux sites cationiques 2x(3d) (notes Pbl et Pb2), equivalents au site (6h) de P6 3 /m, sont totalement occupes par le plomb. Les sites (4f) de P6 3 /m se subdivisent en quatre sites non equivalents 2x(1c) + 2x(1b) dans P3. Trois de ces sites sont occupes a la fois par le sodium et le plomb, alors que le quatrieme est totalement occupe par le plomb. Les spectres de diffusion Raman et IR de ce compose ont ete etudies en detail sur la base de la theorie des groupes et par reference aux autres composes apatitiques. La presence des trois raies, sur le spectre Raman, vers 935, 960 et 973cm -1 et qui sont attribuees aux modes de vibration totalement symetriques v 1 (PO 4 ) confirment bien la baisse de symetrie observee.
