Abstract
Au Québec, les services de protection des enfants victimes ou à risque de maltraitance sont balisés par les dispositions de la Loi sur la protection de la jeunesse (LPJ). Cette loi spécifique précise les droits, les principes et le rôle de chaque instance ou intervenant du processus d’intervention prévu pour garantir la protection des enfants. L’article qui suit décrit les dispositifs découlant des dispositions de la LPJ et l’articulation des services entre les établissements et les organismes chargés de venir en aide aux enfants et aux familles vulnérables.
