Abstract
Stace dans la Thébaïde décrit les ensembles architecturaux, la décoration intérieure et l'emploi de l'espace. Nous établissons d'abord le parallèle entre ces descriptions, le programme architectural contemporain de l'empereur flavien et le cadre architectural retrouvé dans les Métamorphoses d'Ovide (de même que l'accueil que fait ce dernier poème aux projets d'Auguste). Puis nous démontrons le rôle important qu'a joué le poème d'Ovide dans l'accueil littéraire de l'architecture impériale chez Stace. Enfin nous considérons les nombreux points de contact retrouvés dans les registres linguistiques des deux poèmes et leurs importantes répercussions sur l'interprétation thématique et politique des deux textes.
