Abstract Dans cet article, les auteurs présentent l'aspect combinatoire lié à la gestion des ateliers discontinus de chimie fine de type multi‐objectif ou job‐shop. En effet l'ordre de priorité des recettes des produits, qui permet de déterminer le lot à charger en premier à un instant donné, induit un fort aspect combinatoire. Sa prise en compte par l'utilisation d'algorithmes stochastiques nécessite un dénombrement précis des ordres de priorité non redondants. Une étude mathématique assez complexe fournit une formule non récurrente aisée à mettre en œoeuvre. Celle‐ci est fondée sur l'analyse d'une famille de polynǒmes pseudo‐orthogonaux.
