Abstract
Variations sur le visage comme métaphore, c’est-à-dire enjeu d’une condensation entre visible et invisible. Il s’agit en quelque sorte d’une promenade qui part du poème de Gaston Miron dont cet article emprunte le titre; qui bute sur l’impraticable éthique de Levinas; qui s’avance à la rencontre de Freud sur la scène de la séance analytique ou le visage se fait miroir; qui croise Proust au Bal des têtes; convoque Moise et le voilement de la Face divine; et qui rejoint finalement Artaud devant ce toujours déjà à venir du visage. Ce parcours donne le visage comme matériau du temps et origine de la parole.
