Abstract
L'Avant-projet de loi sur les obligations est grandement influencé par le droit de la consommation. Les principes qui gouvernent le droit des contrats sont assouplis par l'extension à tout ce domaine de mesures développées en droit de la consommation. De plus, le Titre 3 insère la réglementation des contrats de consommation au Code civil. L'auteure évalue les effets de cette intégration de même que l'adoption de concepts nouveaux. Par ailleurs, malgré la volonté exprimée de ne pas diminuer la protection actuelle dont bénéficie le consommateur, certaines modifications apportées dans cette opération d'intégration risquent d'avoir cet effet.
