Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Several organoyttrium complexes stabilized by β-diketiminato ligands (Ar)NC(R)CHC(R)N(Ar) (Ar = 2,6- i Pr 2 C 6 H 3; R = CH 3 (ligand a ), R = i Bu (ligand b )) have been prepared. Ligand-supported yttrium diiodides LYI 2 (THF) n were alkylated with organolithium or potassium reagents, yielding low-coordinate bis-alkyl derivatives. Several of these compounds have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, and a discussion of these structures in comparison to similar scandium complexes is presented. An out-of-plane bonding mode is observed in the solid state, analogous to that seen in scandium bis-alkyls, and spectroscopic studies reveal that fluxional behavior in solution is also comparable to that observed for the scandium species. The bis-alkyls LYR 2 are susceptible to metalative alkane elimination at room temperature in solution. Activation of (Lig a )YR 2 with [HNMe 2 Ph][B(C 6 F 5 ) 4 ] generates alkyl cations stabilized with η 6 -arene-bound NMe 2 Ph. This unique coordination mode was studied via 1D 1 H, 13 C, and 15 N NMR and 2D ROESY spectroscopy and appears to stabilize the alkyl cations against metalative alkane elimination.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
