Abstract
Résumé Cet article analyse les pratiques de gestion de la diversité dans le secteur public, les difficultés relativement à leur mise en œuvre ainsi que les facteurs de succès associés à ces pratiques. On constate qu’une préoccupation liée à l’égalité des chances et à la lutte contre toutes les formes de discrimination se traduit généralement par des actions de sensibilisation et de formation axées sur le changement des comportements individuels des fonctionnaires (une sensibilisation aux stéréotypes, par exemple) et par des actions encore trop rares visant des changements structurels (l’organisation du travail, l’approche des usagers, les politiques de gestion des ressources humaines, les procédures administratives).
