Abstract
Depuis longtemps, on a reproché à l’orientation d’évoluer en vase clos, loin des réalités psychologiques et sociales. Après avoir défini brièvement la finalité de l’orientation, l’auteur la situe dans une perspective plus large : le développement de l’égo. De plus, avec un programme approprié et résultats à l’appui, l’orientation peut devenir un stimulant significatif du développement de l’égo. Les résultats rapportés dans cet article proviennent d’une étude plus englobante dont l’objectif était de mesurer une approche conceptuelle en orientation (cf. Limoges, 1979).
