Abstract

L’approche « Ecole en sante » (AES) est consideree comme une innovation dont l’objectif est de reformer profondement la promotion et la prevention de la sante publique dans les etablissements scolaires quebecois. L’analyse de la dissemination de l’AES permet de comprendre comment une approche concue par le ministere de la Sante est acceptee en milieu scolaire. En nous concentrant sur les modalites de mise en œuvre de cette innovation, nous analysons cette entreprise de « sanitarisation » de l’espace scolaire. L’AES se caracterise par sa complexite et laisse une liberte d’interpretation importante aux acteurs locaux. Cependant, des instruments d’action publique permettent d’orienter sa mise en œuvre et participent a une strategie de penetration du systeme scolaire misant sur l’engagement des acteurs scolaires consideres comme « les promoteurs de l’approche ».
