Abstract
The least squares method was applied to the step frequency technique for processing two-dimensional images. The advantage of the method is that once the QR decomposition of the matrix is performed for a given target, it is not necessary to repeat this computation for other targets. Numerical simulations which show the validity of the method have been presented.
