Abstract
Diana Lichy, poétesse vénézuélienne contemporaine, nous propose dans son recueil Sortilèges (1994) la mise en valeur d’un paysage chamanique, soit un paysage propre à l’imaginaire et aux traditions de l’univers amazonien. Ces trente poèmes sont autant de « voyages » oniriques dans les mondes irrationnels où, à la différence de l’approche occidentale du paysage qui privilégie le regard, est mise en exergue la dimension pluri-sensorielle et notamment sonore de paysages hors du temps, vus de l’intérieur, sans exotisme aucun. Ainsi, au travers de jeux métamorphiques, Diana Lichy nous invite à découvrir des paysages amérindiens plutôt qu’amazoniens, car le paysage amazonien n’existe pas sans le regard porté sur lui, il est une représentation du monde, en l’occurrence ici de l’imaginaire amérindien, doté d’une conception spécifique de l’univers, des hommes et de leurs relations.
