Abstract
In rats, the nephrocalcinosis and mortality produced by an intravenous injection of mercuric chloride were markedly diminished by hypophysectomy performed 7 days earlier. Triamcinolone in combination with hypophysectomy completely abolished the nephrotoxic and the fatal effect of mercuric chloride.
